At The Park – Something that I really like to do is cut out designs from patterned paper to use as embellishments. The red paisley paper was really bold for me so I decided to use it in smaller portions and I really like the way it added movement to my page.
Happy As An Angel – Sometimes a single picture is all it takes and I’m inspired to just create a “pretty” page around it. I put the wing rub-on directly on top of the floral paper and it was really difficult to see. My solution was to fill in the negative areas of the wing with white acrylic paint and that did the trick.
Nature Walk – I was so happy with how the kit matched so perfectly with these pictures I took of my daughter while we were out on a walk. I cut out flowers from one of the floral papers and rearranged them to make a sort of bouquet. I secured the metal tag with a simple stitch.
Family – Most of my scrapbook pages are very floral. This was one of the few family photos I got during our Hawaiian vacation and what better way to show it than to surround it with what I remember most from the islands…flowers. Here I did more paper-cutting to make a big burst of flowers and I used pearl gems from Making Memories as centers for a few of them because pearls are very Hawaiian too.

Love Card - Even though cards are small in size, they’re still challenging for me! I’ve been going pretty simple with my cards lately and this one uses just three small pieces of scrap paper and three pieces of embellishments. I layered the epoxy “Love” sticker over the felt scalloped circle to create the sentiment.
